There has been much discussion among believers in this election year about whether or not to vote.  There are many who are discouraged and disenchanted over the political process.  Many don’t believe there is a godly and biblical choice (Thabiti Anyabwile is one who has articulated the position particularly well).  But John Piper has some contrary and wise counsel along with a godly admonition:

So my suggestion to all who wonder if they should vote is: Tell as many people as you can the good reasons why you are disaffected with the whole thing; then go to the polls and take a burden-bearing, pro-active risk rather than staying home and taking a burden-dropping, reactive risk.
